Comments on: How different search engines handle: noindex, nofollow meta tags, nofollow attributes, and robots.txt

I still do not understand nofollow and noindex so maybe someone here can help out. If I have lets say 10 pages and I only want 3 of them indexed and I want all the other pages interlinking to give my homepage top positions in serps. But do not want them passing on “link juice” to other pages on my website.

How do I go about setting this up if I’m even doing it the right way. Please Help!

You might use tools to create robots.txt..but its always better to customize it manually as per the needs of your site.

Shuld I Use Any Plugins Or Software to make better robots.txt file? Or Hand Made File Is Enough?

Hi Russell, Please let us know more about it. If you are a webmaster of the pages showing up in search engines after searching your name, then its easily possible to vanish those results using noindex and robots.txt but if those are third party pages, then its to be rectified through online reputation management.
